Most often the skin problems are more aggravated than helped for by the choice of cosmetics. It has to be well understood that not all cosmetics are meant for everyone instead they have to be optimized according to the skin type. Most of my patients are unaware of their skin type in their first meeting. I through my blog endeavor to educate you about your particular skin type, this will help you choose the cosmetic product best suited for your skin type.

Know your skin
How does your skin feel and look when you first wake up in the morning? *
•  Dull, Dry and flaking
•  Shiny especially near the nose, forehead and chin
•  Red and blotchy
•  Same with no change
•  Both 'a' and 'b' options


How often do you need to wash your face? *
•  Only once a day sufficient
•  I may wash it many times but it still feels oily
•  I just cannot tolerate any face wash
•  Morning and night
•  It feels dry immediately on washing but after some time I can feel some oil
How often do you need to wash your hair? *
•  Usually twice or thrice a week
•  I need to wash them everyday otherwise they turn slimy
